Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1972 Triumph TR6 which is beautiful overall condition and has only had 3 owners since new. This TR6 has been nicely restored over many years and comes with numerous restoration receipts and service records. This TR6 is completely rust free and solid and has excellent lines and gaps around the car. This TR6 has been nicely restored and features a nice repaint in factory Damson, a restored interior, several restoration receipts and service records, a Heritage Certificate and original window sticker, and a great running original drive line. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Damson exterior over New Tan interior. The miles are actual and fully documented on this TR6 with current and past titles marking the miles as Actual and numerous receipts and record accounts stating the miles over the years.
Exterior
The Damson exterior is in good overall restored condition. This TR6 was treated to an older re paint and still looks good in factory Damson paint. The paint is in good overall condition and has a nice shine and gloss and is smooth to the touch. The body is very solid and the lines and gaps are excellent on this TR6. The underside is very solid with no signs of visible rust anywhere on the body or frame. This TR6 was heavily undercoated when new which has really protected this roadster. Both bumpers are in good shape and look good on the car. The tires have good tread left and are sized at 205/70/15. The OEM wheels are in great condition with newer trim rings. The convertible top looks good on the car. All weather stripping and seals are in great condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with and comes with jack and tools and a spare tire.
Interior
The Tan interior of this TR6 is in superb restored condition. This TR6 interior was completely restored in factory New Tan interior. The seat covers are in excellent condition and are very comfortable with replacement foam and covers. The carpet was replaced and is in great condition with no major wear or holes or stains. The door panels were replaced and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The dash pad is in excellent condition and so is the dash wood surround and both were replaced. An upgraded CD stereo was added and sounds good in the car. The gauges all work and are clear and crisp. The wipers, horn, stereo, blower motor, and all lights work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. An extra horn was installed and works off a push button under the dash and an auxiliary power source was added.
Mechanical
This TR6 is in excellent mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well and rides very tight with no rattles. The previous 3 owners of this special TR6 kept meticulous care of this car and saved all of their service records and receipts from the restoration all the way back to when the car was new. A hand written maintenance log along with a printed version come with the car and with all individual receipts as well. We have driven this TR6 numerous times and it performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. This TR6 is an excellent driver that feels great on the road. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should and were serviced. The clutch operates well and shifting is smooth with no clunking and was replaced. The rear differential was fully rebuilt and serviced. The exhaust system is in great condition and sounds great at idle and cruising speeds and was replaced. New rear and front suspension parts were added as seen in the receipts and photos. The radiator was serviced and the carbs rebuilt. See the numerous receipts for all the work that has been completed on this TR6 over the years. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.
