Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this fantastic 1980 Monza Spyder is in superb overall original condition with very low actual miles of 63,539. This Spyder is in terrific original stock condition and was in storage for almost 30 years until last summer. In the summer of 2022 this Spyder was sold to the third owner and he got the car road worthy again with new tires, new brakes, new exhaust, and serviced fluids and cleaned the fuel tank. This Spyder features beautiful original red paint, a near mint original interior, the original factory drive line, and the original factory build sheet. This Spyder is very solid with great lines and gaps and shows no visible rust. There is no rust or rust repairs and no bubbling paint. The underside is extremely solid with no rust or corrosion issues and no patches or repairs. The underside looks as good as the top side. This Spyder is finished in the desirable color combinations of Red paint over Black vinyl interior. The current Ohio title shows the miles as Actual as does the previous title.

Exterior

The Red exterior is in fantastic overall original condition. This Spyder has great original paint with original graphics and trim. The paint is in very nice overall condition for its age with no signs of visible rust anywhere on the body or underneath and both bumpers are in great shape. There is no bubbling paint anywhere on the body of this car. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires have full tread left and were purchased summer of 2022. The 13″ OEM wheels are in great condition. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in good original condition. Hatch is very solid and clean and factory correct with the original spare tire and new hutch struts were just installed. The underside of this Spyder is exceptionally solid with no rust issues or concerns and no patches or repairs. Its nicely detailed and shows very well.

Interior

The interior of this Spyder is in terrific original condition. The original seat covers are in spectacular condition with no noticeable wear or fading or seam splits. These are factory original covers not some cheap aftermarket covers. The carpet is original with no major stains, rips, or holes and is in great condition. The original dash is in like new condition with no cracks or warping. The original stereo sounds good and thankfully the dash has not been cut on for a modern stereo. The original door panels are in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in great condition. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should including the cigarette lighter. The horn, all gauges, stereo, wipers, and blower motor all work. A new blower motor was just installed. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This Monza is in good mechanical condition with only 63,539 actual miles. The original engine is still in the car and is very factory correct and has not been tampered with or molested. The factory stock emissions are still in tact on this Spyder. The engine runs good and the car performs nicely. This Spyder’s engine bay is very clean and detailed and shows how well this Monza has been cared for. New shocks were added in 2022. The exhaust is stock style and was replaced from the cat back in summer 2022. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should and were serviced in 2022. The gas tank was removed and cleaned summer 2022 and a new fuel pump was added at that time. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.
