Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this nice 1986 El Camino which is in nice driver overall condition. This El Camino features a nice re paint in grey two tone paint, a grey bucket seat interior, and the 305 engine with automatic transmission. This El Camino is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Grey two tone paint over Grey Cloth interior.
Exterior
The two tone grey exterior is in nice overall driver condition. This El Camino was repainted in two tone grey paint scheme and looks good. The paint is in good overall condition and has a nice shine, good gloss, and is smooth to the touch. The underside is solid overall and undercoated for protection. Both bumpers are in good overall condition. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos. There is one spot on the silver paint that has light bubbling, and some spots on the edges of the charcoal paint area with bubbling paint. Overall truck is mostly solid with a few areas of mild bubbling which is common on these. The tires have near full tread left are were purchased in 2019 and are sized 225/70 R15. The rally wheels are in good overall shape and have no curb rash. The rear cargo compartment and spare tire storage area are both solid and clean and the original spare tire is still in place. The rear tail gate works properly and the bed of this truck was also repainted and its very solid.
Interior
The Grey Bucket Seat Cloth interior of this El Camino is in mostly stock condition. The seat covers appear to be original and in good overall with no major wear, stains, or seam splits and are very comfortable, out side of the drivers seat which has some blemishes around the outside bolster area. The carpet appears to be original and in good overall condition but there is a blemish in the rear passenger side area. The original dash is in great condition with no cracks or fading and the gauges are crisp and clear. The stereo was upgraded to a modern unit and the blue tooth works fine but the radio is not currently getting reception. The original door panels are in good condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in like new condition and looks to be replaced. All interior lights and gauges work as they should outside of the fuel gauge which is stuck on full. The horn, stereo, wipers, power windows, and blower motor on all speeds all work. This El Camino has factory air conditioning and all components remain in place but currently the system does not blow cold air. The rear cargo cover is not in place but can be easily sourced from many different suppliers.
Mechanical
This El Camino is in good mechanical condition and the trunk runs and drives good. A new battery was installed in 2018. The 305 engine runs well and the transmission shifts smoothly. We have driven this El Camino several times and it drives well, it does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. There are no loud rattles or annoying noises. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The exhaust is newer and is loader than stock and has a muscle car sound. A new alternator was added and an Edelbrock aluminum intake was added. This El Camino has been loved and well cared for by its previous owners and the overall condition of the truck and the way it runs and drives validates that.
