Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1985 Delta 88 which is in beautiful original condition with low actual miles of 29,809. This Delta 88 is stock original and has not been restored or changed from stock and has only had one owner since new. It was purchased new in Fairborn Ohio and remained there until 7/9/2021 when it came to Cincinnati. This car features believed to be original paint, an original blue cloth interior, and the original numbers matching 307 engine. This car is very solid with great lines and gaps and has no visible rust on body or frame. This car is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Light Blue over Blue cloth interior. Also included with this car is the original purchase order and several original documents and car owners manual.
Exterior
The Blue exterior is in good overall original stock condition. This car has believed to be original paint and trim and shows no signs of any repainted areas. The paint is in good condition with no signs of visible rust and both bumpers are in great shape shape and the original dealer sticker is still on the back bumper. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. Tires are older but still drive ok and the OEM wire wheels are in good shape but one center cap is missing its emblem. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original spare tire, jack, and original trunk mat. This car was rust proofed when new which has really done its job and kept this car from having any rust issues.
Interior
The Blue cloth interior of this car is in great original condition. The original seat covers are in great overall condition with no major wear or seam splits. These are original covers not some cheap aftermarket covers. The carpet is original with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or fading and the dash bezel is in great condition as well. The original stereo still sounds good and thankfully the dash has not been cut for a modern stereo. The door panels are original and in nice condition and all door pulls are solid and in tact. All interior lights and gauges work as they should outside including the clock. The cigarette lighter is in working order. The horn, stereo, blower motor, and wipers also work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. The AC is all there but currently is not blowing cold and may need serviced.
Mechanical
This Delta 88 is in great mechanical condition with only 29,809 actual miles on the original 307 engine. In the video one can observe this car running with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. The exhaust appears original with the catalytic converter and looks to have original mufflers. The car was recently gone through in preparation for a sale, see new receipts. This car is a blast to drive and turns heads where ever it goes. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The engine bay of this car is exceptionally stock and unmolested showing several original tags, hoses, clamps, decals, stickers, clamps, clips, and the like. The shocks are a bit spongy.
