Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this Factory 1981 Camaro Z28 which is in nice overall condition with low actual miles of 72,882. This Z28 retains its original 305 engine and the original 4 speed manual transmission comes with the car too. This Z28 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of light blue exterior over black interior which is a stunning color combination. This Z28 is solid with nice lines and gaps and the underside is solid as well.
Exterior
The Blue exterior is in really nice driver condition. This Z28 was treated to a repaint in recent years with new decals applied at that time. The paint shows well and has a nice gloss and is smooth to the touch. The paint is in good overall condition and has a deep shine and is a beautiful color. The body is solid overall and the gaps and lines are good. Both bumpers are in great shape with no flaking or faded paint. The decals are in good shape and really accent the car and Z28 package. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires have good tread left and the Z28 wheels are OEM originals which are in excellent restored shape.
Interior
The black vinyl interior of this Z28 is in great overall condition. The front seat covers were replaced and look new and show no wear. The rear seats are original and in great shape. The carpet is in excellent shape with no major stains, rips, or holes and was replaced. The dash is in good overall condition with no cracks and is not faded or warped. The stereo appears to be original but is currently not working. The door panels were replaced and are like new and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in good shape and was replaced. The package tray is in good condition and was replaced as well. All gauges and lights are in working order outside of the gas gauge being pegged. The heater and horn are not working. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This Z28 appears to be in good mechanical condition and still retains its original 305 engine which drives well and has good power. Much attention was spent to keeping the car stock under the hood and the air pump is still in tact and all emissions and smog items appear to be in operation and in tact. A fully rebuilt 4 speed manual transmission was just added on 11/10/2022 and the original numbers matching 4 speed manual transmission comes with the car but needs a rebuild. A new clutch was added at this time as well and the car shifts smoothly now. The factory computer system seems to all be in place still and working properly. We have driven this Z28 and it performs good and is a true joy to drive. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs very well. This Z28 is an good driver that feels good on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs good. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. The exhaust was replaced with a Factory style exhaust but the cat was replaced with a strait pipe. The underside has not been detailed or covered up with cheap spray paint. You can see the solid condition of the original metal. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. This is a factory non AC which really cleans up the engine bay and adds a little performance. The engine bay area is very stock and unmolested with original smog equipment still in place.
