Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V which is in super nice original condition. This Lincoln is loaded with factory options including Cartier clock and power sunroof and 8 Track player with cb. This car features believed to be mostly original paint, a beautiful blue original interior, the original 460 engine, and several original dealer books and brochures. This Mark V is finished a beautiful and desirable color combination of Blue over Blue cloth interior. This is the factory color scheme as seen on the trim tag photographed above. The factory AC system blows cold and was recently serviced and a new compressor was added.
Exterior
The Blue exterior is in original stock condition. This car has believed to be mostly original paint which is in good overall condition. The paint has a nice shine and is smooth to the touch and all the trim and emblems are in good condition. The car is very solid overall and the gaps and lines are very good around the car. There is no bubbling paint or cracked paint around the car and no visible rust or repairs anywhere on this car. Both bumpers are in great shape with no rust or dents or pitting. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. There is a small repair at the bottom of the vinyl top on the passenger side. Tires have excellent tread left and drive nicely and look great on the car. The hub caps shine nicely. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in great condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with the spare tire and jack and surround carpets. The underside is extremely solid and honest and shows no signs of any prior or past rust and no repairs or patches anywhere on the underside.
Interior
The Blue interior of this Lincoln is in fantastic original condition. The original seat covers are in great overall condition and show no signs of any major wear. The carpet is in great condition as well with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in excellent overall shape and the dash bezel is great as well. The Factory 8 track player works and sounds good and the cb is still in tact. The original door panels are in great condition and the arm rests are in tact and work as they should. The headliner and rear tray are in good condition and the headliner is not sagging. All interior lights and gauges work as they should including the clock and horn. The wipers, power windows, power seats, stereo, and blower motor all work. This Lincoln has factory Air Conditioning and all the factory components are in place and currently the AC blows cold and works well. The AC system was serviced recently with a new compressor. Power sunroof works well. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. Power antenna does not work and power door locks are not currently working.
Mechanical
This Lincoln is in excellent mechanical condition and the original 460 engine runs very well. The engine bay area shows a lot of originality with numerous original markings and stamps and decals, hoses and clamps being original. The automatic transmission shifts nicely and operates well. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well. This car is a great driver that feels good on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time and runs strong. New front and rear shocks were recently added. The brakes do not pull while driving and stop well. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. This is a factory AC car which is currently functioning and blowing cold air.
