Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this Survivor 1977 Factory Z28 which still retains its original numbers matching 350 engine with low “Actual” miles of 80,137. This fully documented Z28 was the king of the mountain for 1977 Chevy performance and is mostly original with just some wear items replaced. The included build sheets and other dealer documents fully authenticate this special Z28 as being legit and the real deal. This Z28 features factory white paint and correct decals, an original fantastic Black vinyl interior, the original factory drive line, and 2 factory build sheets. This Z28 has no visible rust and is very solid with great lines and gaps. The underside was fully rust proofed when new and is solid. This Z28 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of White over Black vinyl interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag pictured above and included Build Sheets. These special low production Z28’s are some of the most sought after collectible Camaros on the market. They continue to increase in value and desirability. This Z28 has had three owners and stayed with the original owners from new until 2017. Recent service work consists of replacing oil and transmission fluid and flushing coolant and replacing some gaskets.

Exterior

The White exterior is in nice stock condition. This Z28 features correct factory white paint with Z28 decals and trim. The paint is in good condition for being older and shows well with no signs of visible rust anywhere on the body or underneath and both bumpers are in great shape with no flaking paint. The paint has a nice shine and good gloss and is smooth to the touch but does have some expected patina. There are a few minor rock chips around the car and a some areas with paint crazing which I tried to show in the photos. There may be some imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos. New decals were installed in 2017 and the wheels were fully restored then as well. The tires were installed in 5/2022 and have full tread left and are correctly sized 225/70/15 and the factory wheels are OEM originals and are fully restored with new center caps and NOS trim rings. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in great condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original space saver spare tire and jack, with a the original correct trunk mat and the original tire inflator bottle.

Interior

The Black vinyl interior of this Z28 is original and in near mint overall condition. The original seat covers are like new condition with no excessive wear or rips. These are not replacements but factory original vinyl covers. The carpet is original with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or fading or warping which is very hard to find on these cars. The dash bezel is original and in near perfect condition. The original am/fm 8 track stereo works and sounds good. The original door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner and package tray are both in good shape. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should including the cigarette lighter. The horn, stereo, wipers, and blower motor on all speeds works. The warning buzzers and lights all work and so does the blinker indicator lights. Everything works on this car outside of the clock. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This Z28 is in excellent mechanical condition with low miles of 80,137. Most importantly the original 350 engine is still in the car with matching numbers. I have driven this car numerous times and it drives very well and gets a lot of attention while cruising around town. The brakes were fully serviced in 5/2022 and they work very well and the car does not pull from side to side. New calipers and pads were added with new brake lines and rear drums and wheel cylinders. New rear leaf springs and shocks were added in 5/2022. Wheel bearings were also added at that time. The exhaust was upgraded to true dual exhaust which gives the Z28 a nice rumble at idle and cruising speeds. In 2017 a new oil pan gasket was installed and new engine seals were added.  Also a new rear differential cover was added. The emergency brake works as it should and holds the car well. A new starter was added and some power steering hoses were added as well. We have driven this car numerous times and it always performs well, it does not run hot, it rides tight, and is always a joy to drive. The smiles, thumbs up, and attention you get driving this car really adds to the enjoyment factor. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well. This Z28 is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs excellent. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. There is a lot of originality under the hood and throughout the car. This is a factory NON AC car which really cleans up the engine bay and enhances performance.
