Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this Unrestored 1977 AMC Pacer which is nice original condition with low “Actual” Miles of 78,161. This Pacer is very unique with a factory ordered 4 speed manual transmission. This Pacer has been meticulously cared for and maintained over the years with several items replaced recently. The mileage is “Actual” by the clear Ohio title branding the mileage as “Actual.” The original manual is included with the sale. This Pacer is very original with just standard maintenance items being replaced. This Pacer features mostly original paint, a nice original D/L interior, and the original 6 cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission. This Pacer is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Yellow exterior over Tan interior.

Exterior

The Yellow exterior is in mostly original condition. This Pacer has mostly original paint with original emblems, trim and moldings. The mostly original paint still looks good for its age but has expected patina in places and and has had some body work in both lower rear quarter panels. The original bumpers are in excellent condition and fit nicely on the car. The tires have nearly full tread left and are sized 195/75/14 and the wheels are unrestored originals in great condition. All weather stripping and seals are in good condition but are originals. Hatch is very solid and clean with the original spare tire. The rear wiper works but the wiper arm needs adjusted.

Interior

The Tan D/L Navajo interior of this Pacer is in nice unrestored original condition. The original seat covers are in overall good condition and are comfortable to sit on. There are some small rips and seam separations in a few places on the covers. The original carpet is in ok overall condition. The original door panels are in good condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The original dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or fading and the dash surround is in great condition as well. The original steering wheel looks good in the car. The interior lights all work and are bright and crisp. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should. The horn works properly. This stereo is a vintage Kraco cassette player that sounds good and can be heard in the video. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. The glovebox has the original manual located inside.

Mechanical

This Pacer is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives well. The engine and transmission are both original to the car and appear to have never been removed from the car. It is very factory correct and appears unmolested as is the rest of the car. The smog pump and lines are original and the emissions appear to be all in tact and original. The smog pump belt is removed but the pulley moves freely without excessive noise. Not sure why the belt was removed. This Pacer performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a joy to drive, and gets a ton of attention. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. This TR6 starts quickly and holds idle within a few moments. The brakes do not pull and stop well. This Pacer has new cat back exhaust with a new muffler and pipes from the cat back. The radiator was recently replaced with an upgraded aluminum radiator with new hoses installed as well. A new valve cover gasket was installed too. The power steering pump has a leak. The emergency brake works properly. The factory AC unit is all there and in place and when freon is in the lines the AC works. The freon does leak out over time. Also, the engine is clean and detailed as one can see from the photos. The engine appears factory correct and stock in appearance and unmolested.
