Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1976 Triumph TR6 which is beautiful overall condition and priced to sell with low Actual Miles of 72,509. This TR6 has only had 4 owners and is documented back to 1976 with the original window sticker, original sales contract, receipts and service records from current back to new, and a full three ring binder and another file full of receipts and service records and ownership accounts. This TR6 was rust proofed when new with Ziebart rust protection and has kept this TR6 completely rust free and solid. This TR6 was restored over the years and looks great in Factory Delft Blue over New Tan/Black interior. This TR6 has been nicely restored and features a nice paint job in factory Delft Blue, a restored interior, receipts from current to when the car was new, and a great running original drive line. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Delft Blue exterior over Tan/Black interior. The low Actual Miles of 72,509 are fully documented and several titles, numerous past service records/receipts, and a bill of sale from 2009.
Exterior
The Blue exterior is in nice restored condition. This TR6 was treated to a re paint in 2009 and a can of left over paint comes with the sale. Delft Blue is the factory color which is somewhat rare for a TR6 and a very attractive color. The paint is in good condition and has a nice shine and gloss and is smooth to the touch. The body is very solid and the lines and gaps are excellent on this TR6. This TR6 was rust proofed when new and Ziebart yellow plugs are seen in numerous places around the body of the car where the rust protection was injected. The underside is very solid with no signs of visible rust or any signs of rust repair. Both bumpers are in good shape and look great on the car. The Michelin tires have excellent tread left and have about 3500 miles on them. The OEM wheels are in great condition with newer trim rings. The convertible top is the correct style top with reflective stripe and is in good condition and works as it should. All weather stripping and seals are in good condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with spare tire, trunk mat, and jack tools. Windshield was replaced and both doors have original Triple XXX glass. Custom pin stripping was added a few years ago on the body, hood, and trunk with vinyl decals
Interior
The Tan and Black interior of this TR6 is in very nice restored condition. This TR6 was originally all Black but the previous owner liked the two tone look and added Tan seats and carpet. The seat covers are in like new condition and are very comfortable with supportive foam. The carpet was replaced and is like new as well with no major wear or holes or stains. The left door panel was replaced with a new black one and the passenger new door panel comes with the car but is yet installed. The dash is in good overall condition and the wood surround looks excellent. A upgraded Clarion cassette stereo was added and sounds good in the car. The gauges all work and are clear and crisp. The wipers, horn, stereo, blower motor, and all lights work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. The horn is intermittent, sometimes it works properly and sometimes it does not.
Mechanical
This TR6 is in excellent mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well and rides very tight with no rattles. This TR6 has low miles of 72,509 which are fully documented back to new and show Actual on the new Ohio title pictured above. Each of the 4 owners of this special TR6 kept meticulous care of this car and saved all of their service records and receipts from current back to 1977. They come sorted in a three ring binder from the first 3 owners and in a file folder from the last owner of over 10 years. We have driven this TR6 numerous times and it performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. This TR6 is an excellent driver that feels great on the road. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. The clutch operates well and shifting is smooth with no clunking. The exhaust is in good condition and sounds great at idle and cruising speeds. A newer stock style radiator was added and keeps this TR6 cool. All new heater and radiator hoses and clamps were also added. New rear and front suspension parts were added as seen in the receipts and photos. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The factory smog system appears to be in tact and functioning properly, which is seldom seen on a classic car.
