Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1976 Triumph TR6 which comes with a factory Hardtop and shows only 51,838 Actual Miles. This TR6 had 51,468 miles on 11/4/2000 and has been driven less than 400 miles in the last 22 years. This TR6 is in beautiful overall condition and is mostly stock original with a few removable add ons like cb radio and working fog lights. This TR6 has been nicely maintained over the years with hand written maintenance log from previous years. This TR6 features very nice Brown paint, a terrific Factory Beige interior, a Factory Hardtop, and several service records. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Brown exterior over Beige interior. This is the factory color combination as verified on the commission plate pictured above.
Exterior
The Brown exterior is in very nice restored condition. This TR6 shows great paint in factory brown with no visible rust or bubbling/cracked paint.
The paint is in terrific overall condition and has a deep shine and smooth touch. The body is very solid and the gaps and lines are great on this car. The factory hardtop is in awesome condition and the paint is very consistent with the condition of the paint on the car. The original beige top cover is in good shape and has original stamping on it still. The underside of this TR6 is very solid as well with no visible rust or corrosion. The T shirt area was reinforced during the 1990’s and the repair still looks good today. Both bumpers are in great condition and the chrome is shiny. The tires have good tread left and are sized 195/75/15 and the OEM wheels are in great condition with replacement trim rings. The reflective convertible top is original and in nice shape for its age and works as it should. All weather stripping and seals are in good condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with spare tire, correct trunk mat, jack tools, and replaced trunk surround pieces. All glass including the hardtop is original Triplex glass and in excellent condition. Fog lights were added on a manual toggle switch.
Interior
The Beige interior of this TR6 is in terrific overall condition. The seat covers are very comfortable and in great overall shape. The carpet is in excellent condition with no major wear, stains, or holes. The door panels are in good condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The wood dash surround is in great condition and appears to be original. Both eyeball vents show factory chrome still which is usually only seen on lower mile examples. The original style stereo works well and the original speakers sound good in the original kidney panels. The gauges all work and are clear and crisp. The wipers, blower motor, and all lights work. The upgraded horns work and the replacement steering wheel looks excellent in the car. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This TR6 is in very good mechanical condition and it runs and drives well. The original drive line is still in this TR6 with only 51,838 actual miles. The current Ohio title shows the miles as actual and the handwritten service records show the miles in 2000 as 51,468. This TR6 performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. An electric fan was added to keep this car cool. This TR6 has been loved and very well maintained over comes with some hand written service accounts from past years. The brakes work nicely and the front calipers, pads, and hoses were just changed. The rear brakes were just fully serviced as well with new brake drums, hoses, wheels cylinders, and new brake shoes. The exhaust was upgraded years ago with performance mufflers but some of the piping is showing its age. The rear differential operates properly and there is no clunking while driving and the mounts have been replaced. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The factory emission system is still in place on this TR6 and is another sign of originality and low miles.
