Cincy Classic Cars is proud to share this 1974 Pontiac GTO which is in superb overall condition with only 70K Actual Miles. This is a rare GTO being a factory 4 Speed model with just over 2487 units produced in 1974. This GTO features beautiful Red paint with like new decals, a super nice original red interior, a numbers matching 350 Pontiac engine, and the original window sticker. This GTO is very solid with great lines and gaps. There is no rust or rust repairs and no bubbling or cracked paint. The underside is extremely solid with no rust or corrosion issues and no patches or repairs. This GTO is finished in the desirable color combinations of Red over Red interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag pictured above.
Exterior
The Red exterior is in fantastic overall condition. This GTO has great paint with like new decals and badges. The paint is in excellent overall condition with no signs of visible rust anywhere on the body or underneath and both bumpers are in great shape. There is no bubbling paint anywhere on the body of this car. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires have full tread left and are like new and the 14″ OEM rally wheels are in great like new condition. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in great condition. The trunk is very solid and clean and factory correct with the original style trunk mat and jack. The underside of this GTO is exceptionally solid with no rust issues or concerns and no patches or repairs.
Interior
The Red interior of this GTO is in terrific stock condition. The seat covers are in spectacular condition with no noticeable wear or fading or seam splits. The flooring is in good shape with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in like new condition with no cracks or warping or fading. The original AM stereo is still in the car and works well. The original door panels are in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in great condition. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This GTO is in exceptional mechanical condition and the Pontiac 350 engine is original to the car with numbers matching. This engine runs very well and the car performs nicely. The 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly in and out of all gears and is really fun to driver. A newer muffler was added and gives this GTO a muscle car rumble at idle and cruising speeds. We have driven this car numerous times and it always performs well, it does not run hot, it rides tight, and is always a joy to drive. This GTO is a spectacular driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time and runs well. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should and were serviced recently with new brake lines and hoses and new brake booster and master cylinder. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The engine bay was fully detailed and shows very well.
