Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1972 Chevrolet Corvette with 33,675 Actual Miles. This Corvette features believed to be original Elkart Green paint, a stock interior, and the original numbers matching 350 engine. Over $5000 was spent a few months ago on new brakes, new tires, new seat covers and foam, fixing wiper door, etc. This car not only looks incredible it runs and drives wonderfully and is nicely sorted. This Corvette comes with many original dealer docs and invoices and several service records and ownership history. The hardtop fits well and the soft top is in good working condition and shows well.
This 1972 Chevrolet Corvette is a green-over-black convertible that was sold new by Book Chevrolet of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and it now shows 34k miles. Power is provided by a 350ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission, and additional equipment includes a black convertible soft top, a body-color removable hardtop, pop-up headlights, 15″ Rally wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a Delco AM/FM radio, and dashboard-mounted map pockets. Recent service work includes replacing the valve cover gaskets and various braking components along with the seat covers and foam inserts. This C3 convertible is now offered on dealer consignment with 1972 sales paperwork, a Protect-O-Plate, manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, and a clean Ohio title.
The car left the factory finished in Elkhart Green (946) and features a black convertible soft top and a body-color removable hardtop. Equipment includes egg-crate front grilles and fender vents, a chrome front bumper, pop-up headlights, split rear bumpers, and dual rectangular exhaust finishers.
Silver 15″ Rally wheels are mounted with new 215/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires that were installed in November 2022, and the front brake calipers, brake pads, rear trailing-arm brake lines, and parking brake shoes were replaced at the same time.
The bucket seats are upholstered in new black vinyl and are joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a Delco AM/FM radio and dashboard-mounted map pockets. The seat covers, foam inserts, and windshield wiper switch were replaced by Eastern Corvettes of Amelia, Ohio, in November 2022.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and center stack-mounted auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 34k miles.
The engine-block stamping is shown above and is numbers matching, and additional identification numbers can be seen in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.
A Protect-O-Plate, 1972 purchase documents, manufacturer’s literature, and partial service records will accompany the car.
