Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1978 Ford Mustang Cobra II which is in terrific driver condition. This Mustang features a nice paint job in factory correct White with Blue Cobra II decals, a nicely restored blue interior, and a good running 302 engine with automatic transmission. This Mustang is very solid with no visible rust and the underside is very solid too. This car has great lines and gaps and shows well. The 302 engine was recently removed and serviced and detailed.
Exterior:
The White paint is in great overall condition and the decals were replaced and the exterior shows nicely. Car was painted years ago but still looks fresh and is a very attractive color combination. There is no visible rust and no known patches around the car. The bumpers are in good shape but do have some minor imperfections in the paint. Wheels are 14″ American Racing wheels and tires are sized 205/70/14 and have near full tread left. The rear hatch works as it should and all weather stripping and window sweeps are in great condition. The hatch struts hold up the hatch easily and were replaced.
Interior:
The Blue interior of this Mustang is in great overall condition. The seat covers are in great shape and show no excessive wear, rips or stains. The door panels are in good shape and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The carpet was replaced and shows no holes, rips, or stains. The headliner is in great shape and not sagging with no rips or stains. The cassette stereo works great and sounds good and thankfully the dash has not been cut for a modern stereo. Interior lights and exterior lights work as do the turn signals. All gauges and blower motor works although the temp. gauge has been changed to a modern gauge that is installed in the engine bay to better read the engine temp. Wipers and horn work. This car has not been smoked in, there is no smoke aroma what so ever.
Mechanical:
This Mustang is in good overall mechanical condition. The 302 engine runs good and shows well and the automatic transmission shifts good. The engine was recently pulled and refreshed with new gaskets and cleaned and painted and reinstalled. This Mustang runs and drives nicely and has good power. True dual exhaust with headers was added and gives this Mustang a nice exhaust tone at idle and cruising speeds. A New water pump was added along with a new aluminum radiator with electric fans. A new Edelbrock Carb. and intake were added. A new battery was just installed and a new Alternator was added. The brakes work well and the brake lines were recently replace. A new starter was just added. The engine bay area is nicely detailed as seen in the photos and shows well with new valve covers and new Cobra air cleaner. Underside is very solid with no visible patches noticed and no rust concerns are visible and was heavily rust proofed when new.
