This Camaro has been fully restored and is the definition of show and go. This Z28 is freshly restored and in show condition and was done to a high level. The paint and body is in beautiful condition as is the interior and the entire drive line has been restored with much added performance.
This car came from the south spending time in Texas and Georgia. This Z28 features gorgeous factory silver paint with correct decals on a rust free body, a restored to stock Black vinyl interior, a new 396 Blueprint crate engine with 525 HP, and numerous other performance upgrades. This Z28 has no visible rust and is very solid with great lines and gaps. This Camaro was rust proofed when new and several rust proofing plugs are visible in the photos. The underside is very solid as well with no visible corrosion concerns. This Z28 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Silver over Black vinyl interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag pictured above. These special low production Z28’s are some of the most sought after collectible Camaros on the market. They continue to increase in value and desirability. This Camaro runs very strong but also has great manners on the road and is easily driven in a mild manner. It starts very easily and is ready to go immediately with not time needed to let it warm up. Turn the key and go.

Exterior

The Silver exterior is in terrific fully restored condition. This Z28 features correct factory silver paint with Z28 decals and trim done to a show level. The paint is in great condition and shows very well. The body line and gaps are excellent around the car. There are no signs of visible rust anywhere on the body or underneath and both bumpers are in excellent shape with no flaking paint. There may be some imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos. A 1979 hood scoop was added during the repaint and sets off the car. The tires have full tread left and are only a few years old and the factory wheels are OEM originals and in restored condition. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in excellent condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original correct trunk mat and spare tire.

Interior

The Black vinyl interior of this Z28 is in excellent restored to stock condition. The seat covers are very nice with no excessive wear or rips or seam splits The carpet is like new and in excellent shape with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in good condition and the dash bezel is in good condition as well. The stereo was upgraded to a modern digital two prong unit and sounds excellent with upgraded speakers. The original door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner and package tray are both in excellent shape and were replaced. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should. The horn, stereo, wipers, and blower motor all work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This Z28 is in excellent upgraded mechanical condition with a strong running 396 Blueprint crate engine with 525HP. The 4 speed manual transmission has been rebuilt and the rear end has been rebuilt with 3.73 gears. A new performance clutch was added. Not only is the crate engine new but so are the surrounding accessories like: new Distributor, wires, spark plugs, new carb. and fuel pump, new power steering pump, new alternator, new radiator, etc. Many items have been upgraded/restored in the suspension like new shocks, frame ties, upgraded swap bars, engine bay bracing, body mounts, etc. We have driven this car several times and it drives well and gets a lot of attention while cruising around town. The brakes were serviced and they work well and the car does not pull from side to side. The exhaust was upgraded to true dual exhaust which gives the Z28 an incredible rumble at idle and cruising speeds. The smiles, thumbs up, and attention you get driving this car really adds to the enjoyment factor. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. There is a lot of originality under the hood and throughout the car. This is a factory non AC car which adds to performance and cleans up the engine bay.
