Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1973 Plymouth Road Runner which is in beautiful overall condition and priced to sell. This is a Factory Road Runner in correct Factory colors and with its original drive line. This Road Runner features a wonderful re paint in factory Yellow with correct factory decals, a stock original interior, the original 340 engine, and several original dealer documents and the factory broadcast sheet.
This Road Runner is solid with great lines and was rust proofed when new and those docs are included as well. This Road Runner is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Top Banana Yellow over Black vinyl interior. This is the factory color scheme as indicated on the trim tag and original documents. The original window sticker and original bill of sale and purchase contract come with the car. The original broadcast sheet, which is in excellent shape, comes with the car. Rust proofing warranty cards and invoice comes with the car.
Exterior
The Factory Yellow exterior is in beautiful restored stock condition. This Road Runner was repainted in Factory Yellow paint with new decals and looks terrific. The paint is in great overall condition and has an excellent shine, great gloss, and is smooth to the touch. The vinyl top is in excellent condition with no rust issues under the vinyl top. The underside is very solid with no patch panels or rust issues and the body is very solid and strait. Both bumpers are in good overall condition with no dents and they both have a good shine. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. The BF Goodrich tires have near full tread left and are sized 255/60 R15 upfront and 275/60/R15 in the rear and drive like new. The wheels are aftermarket Keystone classics and are in excellent overall shape and have no curb rash. The trunk area is stock and very solid and comes with the original style spare tires and jack and trunk mat.
Interior
The Black vinyl interior of this Road Runner is in original stock condition. The seat covers are stock covers and are in excellent overall condition with no major wear, stains, or seam splits and are very comfortable. The carpet looks great with no major stains or rips, but there is a hole where the drivers heal rests but is covered by the floor mats. The original dash is in good condition and the gauges are crisp and clear. The original AM/FM stereo works good in this car and thankfully the dash has not been cut for a modern stereo. The original door panels are in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in like new condition with no sagging and the dome light works. All interior lights and gauges work as they should including the cigarette lighter. The horn, stereo, wipers, and blower motor on all speeds all work. The hood turn signal indicator lights work as seen in the video. The door buzzer works and so does the seat belt warning buzzer and the interior light.
Mechanical
This Road Runner is in excellent mechanical condition and the original 340 engine runs very well and pulls strong. The engine was pulled from the engine bay recently and was fully detailed and repainted. All clips, bolts, hoses, and wires were refreshed. A new starter was added along with new brake lines and new transmission lines. New air filter and new fuel filter were both just installed along with a new fuel pump. New rear leaf springs were added and new front and rear shocks were added. True dual exhaust was added with performance Megnaflow mufflers which gives this car a true muscle car sound at idle and cruising speeds. We have driven this car many times and it drives very well, it does not run hot, rides tight, has good power, and is a true joy to drive. There are no loud rattles or annoying noises. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The exhaust has been completely overhauled from exhaust manifold to exhaust tips and features true dual exhaust with two new Megnaflow mufflers. This Road Runner has been loved and well cared for by its previous owners and the overall condition of the car and the way it runs and drives validates that. Its an excellent driver that would show well at local car shows and cruise inns.
