This TR6 was treated to a refurbishment around 15 years ago including new Factory correct Mallard paint and a new Factory correct New Tan interior. This TR6 is solid with good gaps and lines and the frame is very solid and honest and shows no visible signs of rust. This TR6 features driver quality Mallard paint, a restored New Tan interior, a strong running 6 cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission, and several restoration receipts. This TR6 is finished in the very beautiful and highly sought after color combinations of Mallard exterior code (106) over New Tan (33) interior. This is the correct factory color combination as indicated on the commission plate pictured above. The low miles are shown as Actual on the Ohio title pictured above and also by the good overall condition of this TR6.

Exterior

The Mallard exterior is in good driver condition. This TR6 has good driver quality paint and was painted around 15 years ago and still looks and shows well. The paint is in good overall condition throughout and has an nice shine and gloss. The underside is in great original shape and shows no visible signs of rust and is very honest and not touched up with cheap spray paint. Both bumpers are in good overall condition. The redline tires are older but still drive well and the wheels are nicely restored originals with newer trim rings. The convertible top is in good condition and words as it should. All weather stripping and seals are in great condition and most have been replaced. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original trunk mat and a spare tire. There is a small dent on lower driver front wheel lip. Rock chips have been touched up around the car with color coded touch up paint.

Interior

The New Tan interior of this TR6 is in great restored condition. The interior color is the factory New Tan and was upgraded around 10 years ago. The Original style seat covers are in excellent overall condition with no major wear, rips, seam splits and are very comfortable as original seat covers are. The seat foam and covers have been replaced. The black carpet is in great overall condition with no major stains, rips, or holes and was replaced. The door panels are in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact and both panels were replaced. The dash is in great overall condition with no cracks or fading and the wood dash surround is in good condition but appears to be original and shows some wear. The original steering wheel is in good condition and looks great in the car and the horn works properly and the steering is tight. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should. This TR6 has an upgraded radio and it works well and has modern USB and Card playback. The wipers and blower motor and heater work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This TR6 is in good mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. It pulls strong and is real responsive for a TR6 and comes with low actual miles of 72,116. This TR6 features a Monza exhaust system which gives this TR6 a healthy exhaust note at idle and cruising speeds. The starter was rebuilt a few years ago. A new slave cylinder and was also installed not long ago. We have driven this TR6 numerous times around town and on the highway and it always performs very well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. The previous owner of this TR6 kept meticulous care of this car and the way it runs and drives is a testament to that. Several restoration receipts and service records document the maintenance on this TR6 and come with the car dating back to 1986. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs very well. This TR6 is an good driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. The brakes stop as they should and do not pull from side to side and the master cylinder was replaced and the rear brakes were as well. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.
