Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1986 Safari Wagon which is in beautiful original condition with low actual miles of 84,025. This Wagon is very stock and is in wonderful overall condition and comes with a clean car fax. This Wagon features nice Tan paint with factory paneling, a clean original interior, the original 307 engine, and a clean carfax. This wagon is very solid with great lines and gaps. This Safari is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Tan with factory paneling over Tan vinyl interior. This wagon has low actual miles of 84,025 as verified by the outstanding overall condition of the car but also by the title stating the miles as actual and the included clean carfax. This Wagon is believed to be a two owner wagon and had remained in Kokomo Indiana since new until a few months ago when I purchased the wagon. This Wagon has always been garaged.
Exterior
The Tan exterior is in terrific overall condition. This Safari is finished in its factory Tan color which is in overall great condition. The paint is in good overall condition and the factory paneling is in good overall condition as well. There is one small blemish in the passenger fender under the paneling just above the body trim.
There is some swelling there about a 2.5″ circle, see photos. Both bumpers are in great shape shape which is hard to find with these style of bumpers. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. Tires are new with full tread left and the wheels are OEM originals and are in good shape.
Interior
The Tan interior of this Safari is in great overall original condition. The original seat covers are in terrific condition with no major wear or seam splits or rips. The original carpet is in good overall condition with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in excellent condition with no fading or cracks. The original AM/FM Cassette stereo is still in place and plays well and sounds great. The door panels are in like new condition and all door pulls are solid and in tact. The rear seat folds down properly as does the middle seat. All power windows work properly as does the rear window, power locks work too. The power seats work in all directions on the driver side and passenger side. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should. The horn, wipers, gauges, stereo, and blower motor on all speeds all work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. The factory air conditioning system is in tact and currently blows cold air and is in proper working condition. Several items within the AC system have recently been serviced, see receipts. The compressor, accumulator, O rings, and AC seal kit have all been replaced.
Mechanical
This Safari Wagon is in great mechanical condition with only 84,025 actual miles on the original 307 engine. This wagon drives nice and strait, does not run hot, and has no odd behaviors or noises. In the video one can observe this wagon running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the wagon handles and performs well. This wagon is a great driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. The brakes do not pull and stop well and were recently completely serviced with all new brake lines from front to rear, new brake calipers and pads, new wheel cylinders, and new brake hoses. The muffler was replaced as were the shocks and sway bar end links. The wiper motor was just replaced as well. Also, the engine is clean and very original and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.
