Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1981 5 Speed Honda Accord LX which is in wonderful original condition and priced to sell. This Accord has lived most of its life in California which is evident by the rust free underside and body of this LX. This Accord features a nice repaint in Factory Green, a mostly original fantastic Green interior, the original factory drive line, and most importantly Factory 5 Speed. This LX has no visible rust outside of a few small bubbles below the windshield and is very solid with great lines and gaps. The underside was fully rust proofed when new and is very solid and rust free. There are no rust concerns anywhere on the frame, floors, or rockers. This Accord is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Green over Green interior.

Exterior

The Green exterior is in restored condition. This Accord features all original sheet metal with no patches or repairs and good Green paint. Per the previous owner there was no rust repair prior to the repaint and the car was rust free and remains rust free now outside of a few bubbles under the windshield. The paint is in nice condition and has been very well maintained. There are no signs of visible rust anywhere underneath on this car and both bumpers are in great condition. The paint has a good shine and nice gloss and is smooth to the touch. This LX was under coated with rust proofing when new which did a great job of protecting this car from harsh elements and environments. The tires have excellent tread and are like new and the wheels are in excellent condition. All weather stripping and window seals are in good condition. Hatch is very solid and clean with the original spare tire, jack, lug wrench, with a the original correct tool kit.

Interior

The Green interior of this Accord is mostly original and in great overall condition. The original seat covers are in great condition with no excessive wear or rips. These are not replacements but factory original covers. The carpet is original with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in great condition with one very small split. The stereo has been upgraded to a modern digital unit which works and sounds great. An original style stereo is included. The original door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in great shape and not sagging at all. All interior and exterior lights tested and gauges work as they should. The stereo, wipers(both front and rear), rear defrost, horn, cigarette lighter, clock, and blower motor all work. Even the rear wiper squirter works. Everything checked on this car works as it should. Per the previous owner the AC works. The wing windows open and close properly. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This Accord is in good mechanical condition with recent maintenance. I have driven this car numerous times and it drives well and gets a lot of attention while cruising around rowing through the gears. This Accord has been properly maintained and has had recent maintenance including: new cylinder head gasket, Adjust valves, new water pump, new timing belt, fix cam gear for timing, brake work including new master cylinder, new thermostat, exhaust work with newer muffler, and replacement intake manifold and carburetor. We have driven this car numerous times and it always performs well, it does not run hot, it rides tight, and is always a joy to drive. The smiles, thumbs up, and attention you get driving this car really adds to the enjoyment factor. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well. This Accord is a good driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time and runs well. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should and were recently serviced. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.
