This Trans Am is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Firethorn Red over Black deluxe vinyl interior. This is the factory color scheme as seen on the trim tag pictured above.

Exterior

The Firethorn Red exterior is in beautiful restored condition. This Trans Am was treated to a professional repaint in Firethorn Red with all new decals which are in new condition and were just installed in 5/2019. The paint is in great condition and has a high gloss and smooth touch, with a beautiful shine. There is no bubbling paint anywhere on the body and the gaps and lines are very good around the car. There is no visible rust anywhere on this car or underneath the car. Its very solid and rust free. Both bumpers are in great shape with no flaking or faded paint and the nose crest emblem was just changed. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. Tires are like new with less than 5000 miles on them and sized 235/60/15 and the OEM Rally II wheels are restored with original trim rings. All weather stripping and window sweeps are newer and in great condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with a nice trunk mat, jack and tools, and the full size usable spare tire. Both quarter panels were replaced with GM replacement panels prior to the repaint.

Interior

The Black deluxe interior of this Trans Am is in wonderful stock condition outside of the stereo. The original seat covers are in great condition with no major wear or rips or seam splits. The carpet is like new with no stains, rips, or holes and was replaced. The dash pad is in excellent condition with no cracks or warping and has no repairs. The dash bezel is in excellent condition as well. The original door panels are in excellent condition and the door pulls are in tact and work as they should. The headliner and package tray are both in like new condition. All interior lights and gauges work as they should outside of the clock. The horn, wipers, stereo, and blower motor all work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. The stereo has been upgraded to a JVC stereo which works and sounds great.

Mechanical

This Trans Am is in great mechanical condition and the 455 Pontiac engine runs very well. The Pontiac 455 engine runs strong and feels fresh. This TA has more performance than its stock counterparts and pulls strong and runs well. This TA was born with a Pontiac 400 engine but now features a period correct “WX” engine block stamped Pontiac 455 Engine. This engine features an Aluminum Edelbrock Intake, A Holley 750 Double Pumper carb., and MSD distributor and spark plug wires. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well. This Trans Am is a good driver that feels good on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time and runs strong. The brakes do not pull while driving and stop well. True Flowmaster dual exhaust was recently added with headers and gives this TA an amazing rumble at idle and cruising speeds and new splitter tips were just installed. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.
