Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1976 Triumph TR6 which is beautiful restored condition with low Actual miles of 72,006. This TR6 was purchased around 20 years ago by its previous owner and driven around 2,500 miles over that time frame mostly to local car shows and short Sunday drives. This TR6 has been nicely restored and shows well in its rare factory color of Carmine Red. This TR6 is very solid with excellent gaps and lines and the frame is very solid and honest and shows no signs of rust or rust repair. This TR6 features high quality Carmine Red paint, a superb restored interior, a strong running 6 cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission, and several restoration receipts. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Carmine Red exterior code (82) over Black interior. This is the correct exterior factory color as indicated on the commission plate pictured above. The low miles are shown as Actual on the Ohio title pictured above and also by the excellent overall condition of this TR6.

Exterior

The Carmine Red exterior is in terrific restored condition. This TR6 has excellent paint and was painted around 10 years ago and still looks fresh in its base coat clear coat finish. The paint is in tremendous overall condition throughout and has an excellent shine and gloss. The paint looks deep and is smooth to the touch and is very consistent from panel to panel. There is no visible evidence of rust anywhere on this car. The body shows no rust at all and no bubbling or cracked paint. The underside is in great original shape and shows no signs of rust or rust repair. Both bumpers are in excellent overall condition and have a great shine and no pitting. The chrome is in great shape and both bumpers were re-chromed. The Bf Goodrich tires have nearly full tread left and are like new and sized 205/70/15 and the wheels are nicely restored originals with original aluminum trim rings. The convertible top is like new and features the zip out rear window. All weather stripping and seals are in like new condition and most have been replaced. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original trunk mat, original spare tire, and original jack tools. There is a small blemish on the driver side fender top. See close up photos of that small ding.

Interior

The Black interior of this TR6 is in terrific restored condition. The Original style seat covers are in excellent overall condition with no major wear, rips, seam splits and are very comfortable as Original seat covers are. As seen in the up close photos the Original seat material has the pinholes in the diamond pattern. The seat foam has been replaced under the original covers. The black carpet is in great overall condition with no major stains, rips, or holes and were replaced. The door panels are in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The dash is in great overall condition with no cracks or fading and the wood dash surround is in great condition as well. The dash pad was replaced and in great condition. The steering wheel was changed to a wood Grant wheel and looks great in the car and the horn works properly and the steering is tight. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should. The horn works and the blower motor works. This TR6 has an upgraded digital cd player with newer speakers. The stereo works well and sounds great. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This TR6 is in excellent mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. It pulls strong and is real responsive for a TR6 and comes with low actual miles of 72,006. It rides tight and has no known rattles and is a pleasure to drive. This TR6 features a stock style exhaust system which gives this TR6 a traditional exhaust note at idle and cruising speeds. A new clutch and slave cylinder were installed a few years back and the car shifts nicely and does not pop out of gear. We have driven this TR6 numerous times around town and on the highway and it always performs very well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. The distributor was upgraded to electronic and the spark plugs were replaced with new spark plug wires. The previous owner of this fantastic TR6 kept meticulous care of this car and the way it runs and drives is a testament to that. Several restoration receipts and service records document the maintenance on this TR6 and come with the car. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs very well. This TR6 is an excellent driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. The brakes have been recently serviced and do not pull and stop as they should. The calipers, pads, and hoses are newer. The rear shocks were also converted and the ride is smoother as a result. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.
