Cincy Classic Cars is very proud to offer this stunning fully restored 1975 Triumph TR6 which is beautiful show ready condition with low actual miles of 73,121. This TR6 has been completely restored including a show ready paint job, a fully rebuilt drive line, a fully restored interior, and a completely rust free body and frame. This TR6 is turn key and like new or better than new and is ready for show or go. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Pimento Red exterior(code 72) over Light Tan interior. This is a factory Pimento Red TR6 as evident by the commission plate showing code 72 Paint. The low “Actual” mileage is not only evident by the wonderful condition of this TR6 but also by the Ohio title branding the mileage as “Actual.”

Exterior

The Pimento Red exterior is in fantastic restored condition. This TR6 was professionally painted this summer 2017 in factory Pimento Paint. The paint is in show condition and has an excellent shine and gloss and is smooth to the touch. The paint is deep and very consistent from panel to panel. There are no door dings, scratches, or rock chips. Paint is very fresh and the car was disassembled prior to the repaint as is evident in the photos above. Engine was removed and the engine bay has the same level of fresh paint as the body does. There is absolutely no evidence of rust anywhere on this car. The body shows no rust at all and no bubbling or cracked paint. The panel fit and gaps around the car are excellent. The underside is completely rust free as well and the frame is in excellent condition. The underside is very clean and honest and not touched up or spray bombed. The rockers were left in body color paint to show how solid and clean they are. Factory style black paint can easily be added to the rockers. Front suspension has been mostly replaced and so has the differential mounts. The front bumper is brand new and the rear original bumper is in good shape. The BF Goodrich tires have good tread left and are sized 205/75/15 and the wheels are nicely restored originals. The convertible top is brand new and in near perfect condition and the top cover is original and in great shape. All weather stripping and seals are in like new condition and have been replaced. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original spare tire and original jack tools. Both doors have “Triplex” original glass and both are in excellent shape and the windshield has just been replaced and like new.

Interior

The Light Tan interior of this TR6 is in terrific fully restored condition. The seat covers are brand new and just installed with new foam, the covers are soft and the seats are comfortable. The carpet is brand new as well and just installed and in excellent new condition and feature the snap hold downs. The door panels were just replaced as well and are in like new condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. New dash top, crash pads, knobs, sun visors, bullet mirrors and dash support side panels were just installed. The dash surround is like new and looks excellent in the car. The gauges are bright and crisp and all work properly and the gauge lights shine brightly in the dark. The stereo was upgraded to a digital cassette player and works properly and sounds good. New speakers were added at the top of the kick panels. All interior and exterior lights work as they should. The horn, blower motor, stereo, wipers all work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. It smells and looks new inside.

Mechanical

This TR6 is in superb mechanical condition and it runs and drives extremely well. The engine work was finished this summer and has less than 250 miles on rebuild. The original engine has been completely rebuilt and cylinder head machined to 3.48″ thick to achieve 8.6 compression ratio, rebuild receipts are included with the sale. The block was bored .30 over and has new pistons, rings, bearings, seals, camshaft, lifters, push rods, oil pump, timing chain, water pump, freeze plugs and motor mounts. Original A/C fuel pump rebuilt. Cylinder head has new valves, new springs, new bronze guides, new rockers, new rocker shaft and temp sensor. Drive train has new clutch, pressure plate, release bearing, cross shaft and bushings and flywheel was surfaced. Transmission has new synchros, gaskets, seals, mounts and speedo shaft seal. Rear axle has new mounts, pinion seal, output seals and u-joints. Rear wheel bearing housings rebuilt and new road springs. Hydraulics: All brake and clutch cylinders rebuilt / replaced including calipers, hoses, pads and shoes. We have driven this TR6 numerous times around town and on the highway and it always performs extremely well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs very well. This TR6 is an excellent driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. The brakes have been recently serviced and do not pull and stop as they should. The stainless steel exhaust system looks factory and was just replaced and sounds great at idle and cruising speeds. Also, the engine is meticulously clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The engine bay is show ready and very fresh. Upgraded ignition and new spark plugs and spark plug wires were recently installed. A new emergency brake cable was installed and works as it should.
