Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this Beautiful 1972 Chevy Nova which is nice overall condition inside and out with low actual miles of only 28,117. This Nova features a nice repaint in factory Ascot Blue code(24), a terrific Blue interior, and a ground pounding 402 replacement engine. The 402 engine is period correct and has the suffix code of “TLM” which means it came from a 1972 Chevy Monte Carlo, see engine suffix code stamp below. This Nova is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Ascot Blue code(24) over Blue interior. This is factory color scheme as indicated on the trim tag pictured below. The low miles are not only verified by the overall great condition of this Nova, but also by the Ohio title pictured below stating the miles as “Actual.”

Exterior

The Ascot Blue exterior is in awesome driver condition. This Nova was professionally repainted years ago and the paint still has a great shine and is in nice overall condition. This Nova is solid with great gaps and lines with no evidence of visible rust underneath. The frame and floors are both solid. Both bumpers are in good shape. A cowl hood was added during the repaint and really sets this Nova apart from the others. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. The Cooper tires are like new and have nearly full tread left and are sized 225/60/15. The wheels are in excellent shape. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in good condition. Trunk is solid and clean with a spare tire and jack.

Interior

The Blue interior of this Nova is in fantastic condition. The seat covers are in superb condition and have no rips or tears or seam splits and have no major wear at all. The carpet is in remarkable condition with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in good condition. A “AM Delco stereo” comes with the car but is not installed. The door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in great condition and the package tray is in good shape as well. All interior/exterior lights and gauges work as they should. Gauges were added to monitor the water temp., volts, and oil pressure. Also a stylish RPM gauge was added and works properly. The horn, gauges, wipers, blower motor, and turn signals all work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no smoke aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This Nova is in nice mechanical condition and the 402 engine is an solid upgrade with good power and torque. This 402 engine is period correct and came out of a 72 Chevy Monte Carlo and appears strong and fresh. New MSD wires and Optima battery were added. We have driven this car around town and it performs well and is always a joy to drive. In the video one can observe this car running and walk around video of the car. This Nova is an good driver that feels good on the road. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. The brakes work well and do not pull to one side or the other. True dual exhaust was added with upgraded headers. A Hurst Pro Matic floor shifter was added during the engine swap. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. This is a factory NON AC car which really unclutters the engine bay area.
